2025-2026 Session information

Whether you are an experienced player or today is your first day, you will learn and have fun in the pool. Athletes can try a practice any time for free, and join the club mid-session. We are focused on 14U, and welcome all swimming abilities as long as the athlete is comfortable in the deep end of the pool and can swim 25 yards unassisted.

We provide an open learning environment for athletes and offer the opportunity to reach the highest levels of competition according to personal desire and commitment. We utilize both pool practices and video call reviews to develop skills. Tournament participation is encouraged but not required. Let's go!

Sessions and Fees

In Florida, water polo is a year round sport. We structure the calendar year into 3 sessions.

Spring (Jan - May) - $210
Summer (Jun - Aug) - $210
Fall (Sep - Dec) - $210

Session Fees include:

Mondays OR Tuesdays, Zoom calls for technique and strategy review
Thursdays, Indoor pool practice
Saturdays, Outdoor pool practice
Club equipment for practice and tournaments such as caps, balls, goals, etc.

Tournaments - Optional

Tournaments are optional but are highly encouraged. Athletes learn a lot, build team camaraderie, and make friendships across the state. Our goal is to compete about every 6 weeks. Costs vary by tournament; entry fees range from $100-$175 per athlete, plus travel and lodging.

All SUWP athletes, even trial athletes, must be current USAWP members.

Go to USA Water Polo Membership and Register under Club #31651

(Sarasota United Water Polo Club)

Choose Bronze for 14U age group, Gold for Jr. Olympic Teams, or Splashball for first time under 12.
Sign COVID Waiver in your new athlete account

**Are you a new local athlete? Try water polo with a free 2-week TRIAL membership with USAWP. Registration still required.**

2. Submit Info to SUWP

Email coachjp@suwp.org with athlete name, date of birth, parent name, phone number, email, and USAWP number
